When I checked in, the person at the counter said you will have to pay twice because it’s two people. This can be immediately changed on the app without any additional cost . When I did it on app the person said ok. He was trying to dupe us. Felt extremely shady and unsafe there and immediately decided to check out . On the way to check out I found the same guy who placed our bags in the room carrying local alcohol bottles to the hotel If you’re a solo girl or women travelling together. DO NOT STAY HERE . Unsafe and people trying to dupe you. On asking the charges to Nagarkot, the guy at reception said 4000 NPR while if you go out and ask you don’t have to pay more than 3000 NPRPosted on Airbnb

Location quite hard to find, few taxi drivers rejected us before we called the hotel and asked them to guide the driver. But other than that, it was good. Pure waste of time Pure waste of time and money, blocked toilets room keys not working, just problems dishonest owner, complete disappointment, I would have Ignored few things but at the time of checkout owner was yelling and screaming trying to over charge which was not acceptable people need to know this, I wasn’t sure about how long my stay be so owner said I can pay him for 15 days as he needs some money and if I check out early he will return the money, I paid in advance then he was a different person nothing but the problems in the hotel, I have attached pictures of toilet condition, at the end when I said I will check out, first his manager said owner has gone out, then when I said I will call police owner come out and instead of refund started yelling and screaming, he overcharged me $400 gave around $50 to my colleague who checked out day early, at the end ripped me off for $350…Posted on Tripadvisor

Gabi PMy go-to hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu I love this hotel. I have stayed here 4 times now and I’ll continue to do so when I visit Kathmandu. The staff are so helpful. It’s not just a place to stay, but they also arrange activities such as trekking, scenic flights, adventure activities as well as transfers. While I was trekking in the Everest region I sent them a text via WhatsApp and they organised my flights back to Kathmandu just like that. They can also hold your luggage while you’re trekking. The staff went above and beyond this time, helping me with a fundraiser I was organising from Australia and holding a delivery for me before I arrived. I asked so much of them logistically, I’m sure many hotels wouldn’t have helped me with the same level of care as the staff at Milestone did. But they take the time to get to know you and make sure you have what you need. The hotel is so central in Thamel that you can walk everywhere. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. harleyBoy42Still the Best in Thamel! Stayed again following my two-month stay last year. Loved it every bit as much. The room quality cannot be faulted, peace and quiet in a busy area. Room cleanliness excellent. Great bed and silent a/c which cools or heats well. Food in the rooftop restaurant remains very good indeed and ate in many evenings. Breakfast is also plentiful and delicious....especially the Muesli! (Wow). Staff just always make it for me and they're as good as ever. Love the calm 'no problem' approach. Helpful, chatty, funny and professional. Shouldn't pick any individual out but the Manager Ashish is impressive to maintain such standards for so long in his cool, laid back style and Pragadh for his ever-helpfulness & advice.
