  No welcome drink as it was supposed to have in the booking. The hotel is noisy, and a little dirty.... read more /> The personel at breakfast is extremely slow and spend more time in front of the mirror to groom than to serve. The cook is poor and don't know how to cook fried eggs.
  In the room, many articles are broken (towel and toilet paper holders), no bath carpet and some towels and utilities are missing and it is necessary to everyday request again for them.

Staffs were very friendly and attentive. They were always available if we needed any help. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would suggest little bit to improve is with the toilet flush. It is working well, but could still be little better. Everything was great beside that. If we visit Thamel again, we will surely choose The Milestone.

  My stay here at Miletone Hotel was the worst stay I have ever had in Nepal. Upon arrival, I did not feel like there was any accommodating or welcoming service. In fact, I felt very judged and unwanted.
  
  A few days into my stay, I notified staff that I had jewelry missing from my belongings and had seen it just the day before. I told them in the most polite way and explained that I did not want to accuse anyone.
  Instead of being apologetic and seeing how they could assist me, they denied any responsibility and wanted to search my hotel room with me in there.
  
  One night, I had a business partner come to pick up something from my room and the hotel staff greeted him with resentment and accused it to be prostitution, extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable for me and my business partner.
  
  The hotel staff kept insisting that I pay for my room days before I even checked out and it made me feel as if they didn't think I was going to pay.
  
  On my last night, I ordered room service, the Oreo Milkshake that I ordered was HOT and they tried to serve it to me. I sent it back and told them I didn't want it and to please take it off my bill. The staff member then returned with the milkshake in which he just poured some cold milk in, I could taste the melted ice. I sent it back immediately, then they tried to charge me for it.
  
  Lastly, we agree on the price of 2300 NPR when I checked.
  Instead, when I left, they overcharged me and I paid about 3000 NPR per night.
  I didn't even want to bother wasting any more time and energy with them. They obviously just want money so I'd rather just give it to them and be on my way.
  
  I have worked in hotel management and hospitality, the Marriott Ritz-Carlton, when I was in school for University. SERVICE was always our number one priority - especially making guests feel welcomed and comfortable.
  The hotel beds may be nice here but with HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, STAFF AND SERVICE, this hotel will never survive. There are hundreds of hotels in Thamel, if not thousands in Kathmandu.
  People return because on service.
  
  GOOD LUCK, TRAIN YOUR STAFF.
  
  Oh and by the way, the VP of my organization left one DAY 1 because there were cockroaches in her room.
  I tried to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt.
